We're excited to announce a paid internship opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team. At SAVE, we work tirelessly to maximize voter outreach and education efforts. Must be based in Broward or Miami-Dade counties.
There are two application deadlines: August 12 (early) and September 2 (regular).
The internship period for the early applicants is from September 2nd to November 8, 2024 (10 weeks).
The internship period for the regular applicants is from September 16 to November 8, 2024 (8 weeks)
As an intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission by:
Conduct phone banking and canvassing to connect with voters on key issues.
Provide accurate and informative responses to voter questions about SAVE's mission and candidates we support.
Maintain accurate records of voter outreach activities and volunteer engagement.
Work collaboratively with other organizers, campaign staff, and volunteers to achieve shared goals.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Gaining firsthand experience in the non-profit advocacy world
Working alongside passionate and dedicated professionals
Making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities
Compensation: $20 per hour for a 20-hour weekly commitment.
Who We're Looking For:
A highly motivated and organized individual with a strong interest in LGBTQ+ issues
Excellent communication, research, and writing skills
A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Proficiency in Google Suite
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel independently to event sites.
