JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented International Relations Reviewer to evaluate and interpret strategy, geopolitical dynamics, and security issues through both policy and business lenses. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of international relations, enabling them to inform and guide strategic decision-making processes.

 

Basic Responsibilities

Policy Analysis: Review and interpret shifts in policies within key geopolitical regions such as the U.S., China, India, and Japan to provide actionable insights.

 

Information Evaluation: Study and synthesize data from diverse sources, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of global dynamics.

 

Reporting: Analyze relevant materials and deliver timely, high-quality reports, statistics, and briefings that address critical issues in international relations.

 

Writing: Generate intelligence briefs, risk assessments, policy papers, and academic essays tailored for a range of audiences, including businesses and academic entities.

 

Presentation: Communicate recommendations and findings to senior stakeholders, effectively conveying complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

 

Qualifications

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field.

 

Experience: 

 

For those holding a Bachelor's degree: 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

For Master's degree holders: 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

Technical Competence: Demonstrated experience in government, think tanks, NGOs, or related organizations with strong proficiency in planning, data analysis, and reporting.

 

Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to organize and interpret data effectively.

 

Strategic Thinking: Proven capacity to think strategically and distill complex policy issues into concise, actionable deliverables based on data insights.

 

Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication proficiency in English.

 

Preferred Background

Experience in sectors such as climate policy, digital governance, governmental advisory roles, diplomatic missions, or trade compliance is highly preferred. Familiarity with current global challenges in these areas will enhance the candidate's suitability for the role.
