Job Title: Fundraising Intern

Reports To: Campaign Manager

Intention: Campaign Fundraising

Work Location, Hours: In-Office (Anaheim), 5-15 hours/week

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Position Summary: The Fundraising Intern reports to the Campaign Manager and is responsible for working directly with low-dollar donors to assist with fundraising efforts. Fundraising Interns will be invited to transition to paid-canvassing positions in June, if desired. 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Facilitate day-to-day communication with small-dollar donors to bring campaign contributions in, in real time

  • Work directly with Campaign Manager to develop messaging and scheduling for optimal contribution collection

  • Manages relationships with donors and escalates conversations to Campaign Manager for larger contributions as necessary

  • Collaborates with fellow Fundraising Interns to strategize and maximize call time efforts

  • Helps develop call time resources for Congressional candidate

  • Facilitates weekly fundraising reports

  • Other duties as needed

  • Commitment to the election of Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives

  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels
