The Maricopa County Democratic Party (MCDPP seeks a program manager to lead a fast-paced Latino voter engagement effort. The position would be fully dedicated to running all aspects of the program.
Responsibilities:
Working with MCDP field staff to cultivate new (and leverage existing) volunteers to do literature drops.
Work closely with the MCDP Chair and West Region Director to integrate the needs of the Latino voter engagement effort with those of TIP (Turnout Improvement Project) districts where there is heavy geographic overlap.
Serve as primary liaison with MCDP GOTV effort and Spanish-speaking communities across the county.
Managing vendors.
Liaising with the Arizona Democratic Party on progress of program.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
Spanish-language fluency.
Previous experience implementing and executing a successful field program.
Familiarity with VAN.
Volunteer and/or staff management experience.
Local knowledge and experience working in Latino and diverse communities.
Positive attitude and willingness to work extended hours.
