JOB DESCRIPTION

The Maryland Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign is hiring a Logistics Manager for the 2026 general election cycle. The logistics manager is responsible for all campaign specific logistics such as securing and transporting campaign literature and signs, ensuring offices have necessary equipment, and volunteer facing staff have necessary materials. The logistics manager will report directly to the Coordinated Director and will work closely with the Operations Director. Travel will be necessary. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all aspects of materials requests, acquisition and distribution;

  • Oversee office setup, management, and supply procurement for all coordinated campaign offices, including satellite locations;

  • Support the Coordinated Campaign Director with administrative needs including travel and logistics for principal-level meetings;

  • Anticipate campaign needs and be proactive about filling identified gaps;

  • Other duties as assigned;

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in campaign operations, nonprofit operations, or a comparable fast-paced organizational environment;

  • Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work independently and in team settings;

  • Must be able to work long and irregular hours as needed including weekends;

  • Creative thinking and a “can-do” attitude for problem-solving;

  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable access to a car, and a laptop

  • Ability to lift/carry boxes of literature and campaign materials, including up and down stairs
