Position Summary:
The Manager, Campaign Strategy and Support (Temporary) reports to the Director, Campaign Fundraising on the Elected Leadership Team and will focus on providing campaign research and support as assigned by members of the LEE team. The Manager will aid in the creation of high quality campaign plans, provide key research, and track and analyze campaign data. The Manager will be coached to effectively provide support to meet candidates’ needs.
The Manager, Campaign Strategy and Support (Temporary) is a full-time, temporary position for up to 40 hours per week through March 2025.

Responsibilities:
Campaign Support and Strategy (50%)
Support Directors of Candidate Development in the creation of high quality campaign plans, including remote campaign field supports and targeted data needs
Support digital and communications needs including working with LEE logo, website, and social media templates
Support campaign fundraising training, research, and logistics, including training on team tools and programs
Provide donor research to campaigns including high dollar prospects and targeted PAC research
Track fundraising totals and expenditures of LEE candidates and opponents
Templates, Guidance, and Resources (30%)
Provide fact checking, self-research, opposition research, rapid response, and landscape research as requested
Create campaign templates, guides, and resources for support of multiple campaigns
Explore additional ways to streamline and automate services LEE provides
Data Tracking and Analysis (10%)
Assess campaign data and create campaign progress reports as directed
Create research report templates and formats that can be replicated
Keep and track meticulous campaign data points and enter in LEEnk (Salesforce) and Asana
Special Projects (10%)
Engage in team-level, org-wide, or cross-team special projects as assigned by manager or designee
Provide short-term coverage of other Manager-level duties during a leave, vacancy, or PTO
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate years of work experience (If you do not hold a Bachelor’s degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required. If you hold an Associate’s degree an additional 2 years of relevant experience is required.)
3 years of professional experience, with at least 2+ years of relevant experience including candidate research or campaign experience of at least 1 cycle
Thorough attention to detail in a fast-moving virtual environment
Experience with data systems, tracking and analyzing metrics efficiently and effectively
Team-oriented, flexible professional with a collaborative mindset
Strong, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, & inclusion
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
Deep passion for educational equity and belief in LEE’s mission and theory of change
Preferred Qualifications:
Voter file experience
Experience with Canva or other similar design software
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with Squarespace / Wix / Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience or similar for building tracking documents & templates
Demonstrated success supporting several projects simultaneously with internal and external stakeholders
Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
This position is primarily a sedentary role working with colleagues based around the country using remote technologies.
The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to liaise with staff or access office equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The position level for this role is Manager 1 and the corresponding hourly pay range for this position is $30.82-$43.65. Pay is competitive and based upon relevant experience and cost of labor for your location.
