Winning Connections, an award-winning, Democratic voter contact firm based in Washington, DC, seeks a talented and motivated Marketing and Research Associate to join our team.

 

Winning Connections makes live phone calls to persuade and mobilize voters. Over the past 25-plus years, Winning Connections has served clients from Senator Mark Kelly and Governor Gretchen Whitmer to Planned Parenthood, Everytown for Gun Safety, and the League of Conservation Voters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Marketing and Research Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to support Democratic and progressive electoral and advocacy campaigns. You will be responsible for:

·        Marketing Research: Dive into the world of electoral and advocacy campaigns, interest groups, lobbyists, and public affairs firms. Prepare detailed reports to empower our team with valuable insights.

·        Client Acquisition Support: Assist in drafting engaging marketing and outreach materials, ensuring a solid and consistent brand presence. Record and maintain meeting notes to facilitate seamless communication.

·        Salesforce Management: Keep track of principals' marketing outreach activities in Salesforce. Monitor and assist with follow-ups to strengthen outreach and relationships.

·        Meeting Coordination: Work closely with principals to schedule and staff meetings, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

·        Administrative Tasks: Manage daily administrative tasks related to marketing and client relations, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and sound judgment.

·        Event Organization: Assist in organizing events that showcase Winning Connections' commitment to excellence and innovation.

·        Travel and Event Schedule Management: Contribute to developing and managing travel, conferences, and event schedules.

·        Collaboration and Adaptability: Embrace a collaborative mindset, be adaptable to changing priorities, and assume responsibility for decisions that impact staff, costs, and client services.

·        Go Above and Beyond: Perform other duties as assigned, always striving for excellence and contributing to the team's overall success.
