Description
Friends of Sherrod Brown is seeking a Multimedia Associate **** to join our growing digital team working to elect Sherrod Brown to the U.S. Senate in 2026. This campaign is based in Columbus, Ohio, but will require extensive travel across the state with the Senator. This is a union-represented position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about storytelling online in a way that resonates with digital audiences. They will assist the Digital team on video recording and editing, taking photos, to tell stories online about Sherrod Brown’s fight for the Dignity of Work.

The ** Multimedia Associate** duties include:
Developing visual content for digital platforms
Traveling across Ohio to capture and shoot content of Sherrod Brown, supporters, and surrogates
Capturing content during events, including taking photos and videos
Brainstorming new ideas and creative concepts
Working with other departments to meet photo, and video needs
Working with our digital team to brainstorm and execute new ideas
Qualified candidates will have:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or other design software
2+ years of experience in video production, photography, and motion graphics
A positive attitude and sense of humor
An understanding of how to create content that is optimized for different digital platforms
Good political and social media instincts
A strong attention to detail and be highly organized
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
Salary: $5,000 monthly

Leave: Paid time off will be available per campaign policy.
Hours: This position schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the cycle.
