Prominent democratic consulting firm whose clients include Congressional, Senatorial, Gubernatorial, Presidential and local candidates is seeking a new junior staff member. We work with Senator Patty Murray, Congresswomen Suzan DelBene and Dr. Kim Schrier, Congressman Rick Larsen, Governor Jay Inslee, King County Executive Girmay Zahilay and many others.

 

We are looking for an ambitious recent college graduate who is passionate about Washington state and national politics. You must consider yourself a Democrat. This position will begin in late January or early February 2026.

 

Newman Partners is a top-level consulting firm, focused on fundraising and strategy for progressive political campaigns in Washington state. We work with high profile clients who hold elective office, as well as a number of progressive initiatives and organizations. We are currently seeking to hire an exceptional individual to help manage fundraising for new and existing clients.

 

Skills and Experience: Applicant MUST meet all of the following requirements:

  • Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree

  • Prior political experience or campaign experience required. Finance experience is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher and vote builder/VAN

  • Proven ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary

 

Desired skills in the following areas:

  • Database Management, NGP/VAN, Calltime AI, Numero or other contact management software

  • Strong research skills

  • Event Development, coordination and execution

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Previous fundraising or organizing experience

  • Strong writing and editing skills
