JOB DESCRIPTION
North Star Group is pleased to accept applications for NSG’s 2024 Summer Arctic Internship. This year’s internship opportunity will focus on Arctic youth engagement and pan-Arctic/northern collaboration.
This stipend-based remote-work internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is intended for senior year-level or recent college graduates, ideally suited for international relations and sustainable development with a special interest in Alaska and northern issues. The internship can be done remotely, has a flexible start and end date, and offers the potential for continuing employment.
The successful candidate will be able to strengthen their networking skills while gaining valuable experience in professional communication and outreach strategies, Arctic-related policy development, current events, and connecting with individuals and entities engaged in Arctic issues. These activities will help bridge gaps across sectors and build sustainable relationships throughout the Arctic.
