JOB DESCRIPTION

The Political Manager will play a key leadership role in helping oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term growth of a Gen Z-led federal political action committee dedicated to electing Democratic women, empowering young leaders, and increasing civic engagement nationwide. This individual will work closely with organizational leadership to expand fundraising efforts, strengthen partnerships, recruit volunteers, and help execute political and organizational strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in political organizing, campaign operations, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership while helping build a growing national grassroots organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall management and operations of the organization.

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to grow grassroots donor support.

  • Build relationships with candidates, elected officials, organizations, and coalition partners.

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and interns.

  • Help coordinate endorsements, outreach efforts, and political programming.

  • Assist with strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.

  • Work with leadership on communications, digital organizing, and campaign support.

  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, events, and donor engagement.

  • Represent the organization professionally in meetings and public events when appropriate.

  • Perform additional leadership and administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for Democratic politics, civic engagement, and electing women to public office.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Experience in campaigns, political organizations, advocacy, nonprofits, fundraising, or community organizing is preferred but not required.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

  • Existing political, donor, fundraising, campaign, or organizational connections are highly valued.

Compensation

This is a performance-based position with significant growth potential. Compensation will be based on performance, fundraising success, organizational growth, and overall contributions. Individuals with strong political, fundraising, donor, campaign, or organizational networks may find this position especially rewarding.
