Trip Yang Strategies is a nationally recognized, MWBE-owned political consulting firm that helps candidates, organizations, and causes win in competitive environments. We offer full-service support in campaign and public affairs strategy, direct mail and digital ads, messaging and budget advising, political engagement, and voter contact, offering tailored solutions to help clients succeed.
TYS is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Assistant to support senior leadership. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
Manage calendars, schedules, travel, and meeting logistics
Serve as support contact for clients, partners, and internal teams
Assist with drafting and editing emails, memos, and briefing materials
Prepare meeting agendas, summaries, and research support as needed
Maintain confidential documents and handle sensitive information
Tracking, updating, and maintaining internal project tracking documentation
Assist with event planning, presentations, and administrative operations
2+ years of executive assistant or political/legislative experience
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
Highly organized, resourceful, and able to work in fast-paced settings
Professional discretion with confidential information
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
Preferred: Experience in political campaigns, consulting, government, or public affairs
The yearly rate for this position will start at $30k and will be based on experience and qualifications.
