JOB DESCRIPTION

The great swing state of Wisconsin often feels like the center of the political and public policy universe, especially during an election year. Major outcomes from abortion rights to voting access often ride on just how many Wisconsinites decide to stay home or show up at the polls. A lot of pressure, right?

Luckily, Wisconsin has a super power: it’s young voters. Over 300,000 college students call Wisconsin home – when we organize on campuses, students vote.

Building on work started during the April 2023 Supreme Court Election, we’re building a scrappy and innovative organization that will organize and inspire thousands of college students to vote in the 2024 elections.

What Will You Do?

As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and logistics of our dynamic 2024 program. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Director and field organizers to ensure smooth execution of our initiatives, from coordinating event logistics to managing supplies and budget tracking.

  • Assist in planning and executing campus organizing tactics, such as voter festivals, creative events, and outreach stunts.

  • Oversee the procurement and distribution of materials and supplies. Work with vendors, manage inventory, and conduct regular supply audits.

  • Help secure and maintain campaign offices and storage units. Assist with lease negotiations and setup/maintenance of utilities.

  • Facilitate supply requests and assist department heads with receipt management

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of internal systems to improve departmental coordination and efficiency.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Who Are You?

A successful candidate for this role will:

  • Love creating systems, processes, spreadsheets, and have a knack for logistics.

  • Excited to get creative in the development of youth voter outreach tactics and systems.

  • Be scrappy and flexible; able to manage several tasks simultaneously.

  • Be a self-starter, exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills.
