Leaders We Deserve is looking for a driven and eager Operations Coordinator to oversee various administrative tasks, streamline operational processes, and support the team in executing projects effectively. This role will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with all members of the LWD team, including the Executive Director and President.

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
Administrative support (45%)
Manage daily administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating logistics for events, booking travel, managing google drive, document preparation and more.
Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of the Leaders We Deserve office space and overall effectiveness of the larger team.
Help maintain existing operational procedures and project management tools to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and Executive Director.
Operations support (45%)
Manage day to day facilities needs, such as ordering office supplies, maintaining physical filing systems, reviewing and sorting mail and more.
Monitor public facing email inboxes and take the appropriate action in response to inbox contents.
Support the larger team in event coordination and and execution of organizational events, meetings, and workshops.
Support the larger team with expense tracking and other financial operations support items as directed by the Operations Manager.
Assisting with project management at the discretion of the Operations Manager.
Cross team collaboration (10%)
Serve as a liaison between different departments within the organization.
Collaborate with team members to ensure clear communication and coordination of tasks.
Assist in drafting internal communications and reports.
Operations Coordinator Qualification:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to receive direction and take constructive criticism in stride.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience in administrative or operations roles, preferably within a nonprofit or grassroots organization.
This role is dynamic and can be time intensive. Leaders We Deserve is looking for a candidate who is comfortable with the potential for late-night work sessions and weekend projects when there are important events, deadlines are pressing, or urgent needs arise. Additional responsibilities are likely to arise given the junior nature of this role, growth stage of the organization and the current political environment. Additionally, this role includes some travel across the country, which may or may not be optional given the particular trip.
Operations Coordinator Compensation
Salary: $65,000 annually
