JOB SUMMARY
For Our Future Wisconsin seeks an Operations Manager to facilitate day-to-day operations. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for onboarding staff and supporting all other aspects of the hiring process, inventory management, logistical support, assisting with payroll and Human Resources issues, and other HR/operations duties as assigned.

This position requires creativity and flexibility due to the fast-paced nature and mission of our organization.
This position is anticipated to run through at least December 12, 2024.
POSITION CLASSIFICATION
For Our Future recognizes a staff bargaining unit, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 2304, a labor union. This position is NOT included in the For Our Future bargaining unit.
Assist with in-state hiring, including: perform phone screens, schedule and conduct interviews, and verify references.
Order, store, track and organize all office supplies, PPE & COVID tests, as well as equipment, including ensuring equipment is returned at the end of the election.
Assist state leadership & HQ to track and monitor expenses and outgoing disbursements including, but not limited to, invoices from vendors and contractors, check and wire requests and credit card payments for expenses, lease agreements, internet contracts, and other contracts
Update internal operation procedures documents as needed.
Manage and resolve operational issues.
Store, file and retrieve corporate documents and reports as and when needed.
Manage incoming and outgoing letters and packages.
Perform general office administrative and clerical duties as well as other duties as assigned
Understanding of the general progressive landscape at the local and state level, required; Wisconsin preferred.
Experience managing staff and/or interns preferred.
Familiarity with grant management, electoral compliance and/or non-profit tax law budget implications, a plus.
Basic computer literacy and database skills, required; familiarity with G-Suite and Google Sheets preferred.
Reliable access to functioning computer and internet access, preferred.
Strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
Extraordinary attention to detail.
Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills and ability to hit deadlines.
Solutions-oriented approach, with a willingness to take initiative, while juggling several priorities that may change quickly.
Ability to exercise good judgment in high-pressure situations. Flexibility and a willingness to take on new tasks as the responsibilities and the position evolves.
This is a hybrid position and will require a physical presence in the local office
Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to transport up to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to travel across Wisconsin

Employees may be required to work outside of normal business hours including weekends, holidays, and nights.
Employees are required to abide by certain blackout dates during a campaign cycle or other key deadlines, and generally not allowed to take off during blackout periods. Emergencies are not affected by this policy.

Work Environment
Employees will be required to work and interact, in an office environment or otherwise, with coworkers, volunteers, voters, or community partners on a regular basis. If state and government stay-at-home orders, phased reopening orders, or other factors related to the COVID-19 virus (or any other reason) limit For Our Future’s ability to engage safely in in-person work, employees may be assigned other duties to be conducted from their homes.
