Personal PAC, one of the leading pro-choice organizations in the state of Illinois, seeks a dedicated Organizer to join our team. The Organizer will play a crucial role in mobilizing community support, coordinating volunteer activities, and fostering strategic partnerships to promote and uphold the right to abortion. This position requires a proactive and passionate individual who is ready to work on the front lines of reproductive rights advocacy, engaging with diverse communities and influencing public policy.
Community Engagement - Actively engage with community members and stakeholders to raise awareness about reproductive rights issues. Organize and attend community meetings, forums, and public events to foster a broad-based support network.
Volunteer Coordination - Recruit, train and manage volunteers. Develop volunteer leadership through targeted training programs and by providing opportunities for meaningful involvement in advocacy efforts.
Event Planning and Management - Plan and execute awareness campaigns, rallies, and other events. Ensure that each event is effectively organized to maximize community participation and impact.
Communication - Maintain regular communication with supporters through newsletters, social media, and direct outreach. Ensure that the organization's message is clear, persuasive, and consistent.
Strategic Alliances - Build and maintain relationships with other organizations, coalitions, and groups that share our mission. Collaborate on joint initiatives to strengthen the pro-choice movement.
Data Management - Track and analyze participation and impact metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Use data to inform future actions and improvements.

Commitment to reproductive rights and pro-choice values.
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Social Work, or related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience managing volunteers and coordinating community events preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
Must have access to a working vehicle and a valid driver's license
