Job Description
The Landsman for Congress campaign is seeking an Organizing Director. This is a full-time position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Organizing Director will create and execute an organizing program, manage campaign stakeholders, volunteers and interns and work alongside the state party coordinated program to ensure the campaign reaches voter contact goals.
Responsibilities
Write and execute a strategic organizing and field program
Hire, onboard, mentor, and manage a team of organizers & campaign fellows.
Liaison between the campaign and various activist/partner groups.
Contribute to the scheduling process
Oversee the development and implementation of organizing tools, materials, and resources.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that values diverse perspectives.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1+ cycle of full-time organizing with a campaign or electoral-focused organization.
Proficiency in Votebuilder, commonly used dialer/texter programs, and google suite.
Experience managing teams with a preference for a candidate
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Access to a cell phone, a laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
