About the Role:
We are looking to an Organizing Director to activate volunteers in support of the campaign. You will have an opportunity for career and leadership growth. The Organizing Director will work with the campaign manager to implement a multi-faceted organizing effort to engage volunteers and voters and build the program needed for success.
This is a campaign position for the 2026 election. Salary is $4,500 - $7,000 depending on experience and abilities.
Responsibilities:
Work with Campaign Manager to develop and execute organizing plan
Build a hierarchy structure to recruit, organize, and engage volunteers around the district
Organize house parties
Organize canvass and phone bank events
Implement additional (and creative) organizing tactics
Serve as political point of contact on a day-to-day basis with county parties and other activists
Staff meetings and events
Track metrics of organizing program
Assist with other campaign-related activities as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years prior organizing experience (could be campaign or political-adjacent)
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and able to multi-task
Experience managing up and managing down
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take and implement feedback
Proactive mindset
Proficiency with Votebuilder, Google Drive, relational organizing and other related tools
Experience with different volunteer and voter engagement tactics
