A former public school teacher, Greg Landsman spent his career fighting for working families. Greg led the Preschool Promise initiative, which now provides two years of quality preschool for Cincinnati’s three and four year olds, and spent five years on Cincinnati City Council. Role Overview:
The Landsman Team is hiring an Organizing Director for the 2026 election cycle in a targeted, frontline Congressional district. The Organizing Director will work closely with the Campaign Manager to create and execute a comprehensive organizing program, including hiring and managing organizers, interns, and working with outside stakeholders to keep OH-01 blue and help flip the House!
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Campaign Manager on shaping organizing strategy and setting strategic goals.
Hire and manage organizing staff throughout the district.
Develop systems and best practices for supporting and training staff and volunteers.
Establish metrics and goals for the organizing team.
Creating and executing direct voter contact programs, and reporting on those programs to internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate clear priorities, needs, and expectations up and down the chain
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Relevant community or political organizing experience and staff management.
Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs.
Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence.
Excellent organizational, management, and interpersonal skills.
Must have a personal vehicle and current drivers license.
