Description:
State Representative Frank Burns is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Organizing Fellows. This is a part-time, hybrid, campaign cycle position based out of Johnstown, PA.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to directly contact targeted voters across several modes of communication. The majority of your direct voter contact efforts will be focused on knocking doors. You will also be responsible for making phone calls, and texting.
Recruit, organize, and launch volunteer capacity for direct-voter-contact events.
Ensure data integrity and timely reporting of direct voter contact efforts and volunteer recruitment.
APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSESS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and tactfully with the public.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Commitment to the values and ideals of the Frank Burns Re-election Campaign.
Proficiency with G-Suite/Microsoft Office Suite.
A reliable vehicle.
A computer and cell phone.
Organizing Fellows will report directly to the Campaign Manager.
Compensation: This position starts at $20 per hour. Organizing Fellows should be available for a minimum of 8 hours per week. Opportunity for internship credit if desired!
