**Job Summary: **At End Citizens United / Let America Vote, our PAC Manager will play a critical role in advancing ECU's political and electoral priorities by overseeing candidate engagement, managing the endorsement process, and supporting endorsed campaigns. This position will serve as a key liaison between external campaigns and ECU departments, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and strategic support throughout the election cycle.
What the work looks like:
Liaise with candidates and their campaigns to familiarize and guide them through ECU’s endorsement process (pre, during, and post).
The PAC Manager will collaborate across internal departments: Working with the Operations team on compliance and collaborating with Political and Organizing, Communications teams on Endorsements, as well as the Development team on donor engagement opportunities.
Attend events on behalf of ECU: Helping build ECU’s network, while simultaneously supporting ECU candidates by attending PAC, Fundraising, and Partner Organization functions.
Initiate and lead meetings with candidates and their teams, virtually or in person, to learn about their races and to discuss and align on ECU’s priorities.
Manage and lead logistics for setting up events in states with candidates, identifying and tracking key races where a surrogate attending from ECU would aid the candidates' objectives while also growing and utilizing our organizational prowess.
Monitor and collaborate with campaigns on key races, identifying critical points where ECU can provide support by developing close relationships.
Identifying where ECU might be able to support the operations of a campaign, by establishing regular check-ins and monitoring the race.
Working with our Partnerships Manager to leverage our support with other orgs.
Monitor and guide the endorsement life cycle for candidates from early conversations to public announcement.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in campaigns, with a minimum of 3 years of campaign experience. The PAC Manager will come in with a strong background in project management across internal teams and external stakeholders/partners, and possess the ability to build processes and systems to support the work, prioritizing feedback and continued improvement practices. The PAC Manager will also incorporate their values around building and maintaining relationships, understanding and balancing cross-functional communications and collaboration. Additionally, to be successful in this role, the PAC Manager will be drawing on experiences in political, fundraising, or organizing departments. Bonus skills/experience: Candidates with working experience in digital and graphics. Job Location:
This is a remote position, but the PAC Manager must be located in the DMV area and have the ability to attend meetings and events in Washington, D.C., on a regular basis. Regular work-related travel is required. Note: There is an expectation to attend bi-monthly all staff gatherings in DC.
