Hours: 10-20 hours per week

About the Campaign:
Representative Jessica Dixon Heitman is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our field team as paid canvassers. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on political campaign experience while helping connect voters with a proven Democratic leader who is working to deliver results for the 97th District.
Whether you're a student, recent graduate, community activist, or simply interested in making an impact this election season, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Canvass assigned neighborhoods and engage voters in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
Discuss campaign priorities and encourage voter participation.
Distribute campaign literature and information materials.
Accurately record voter responses and data using your smartphone and the campaign's database.
Report progress and feedback to campaign staff.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in politics, public service, community organizing, civic engagement
Ability to work independently and manage assigned turf effectively
Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods
Access to a smartphone for data entry and campaign communication
Reliable transportation to and from assigned canvassing locations
