We are seeking a Petition Director to lead the ballot access efforts for Corinne Fisher’s campaign for Mayor of New York City. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the citywide petitioning operation, ensuring we meet all requirements to secure Corinne’s place on the ballot. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic leader with experience in grassroots organizing, volunteer coordination, and field operations. Candidates must be capable of managing a large volunteer team in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
Execute the campaign’s ballot access plan
Monitor and meet metric goals
Manage staff and volunteer leadership
Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers
Collect and verify petition signatures as needed
Assist and oversee outreach events
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
At least 1 cycle of campaign organizing experience that includes recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with organizing software like Votebuilder
Must be able to work campaign hours, which include evenings and weekends
Knowledge of and experience conducting petitioning operations in NYC is a plus.
Job Duration: Immediate start - April 4, 2025, with possible extension
Salary:$4500-$5500/month, commensurate with experience (Part-time option possible)
