The campaign of José Javier Rodríguez for Florida Attorney General seeks a Political & Finance Manager to support political outreach and fundraising execution. Rodríguez is a former Florida State Senator, Harvard Law graduate, and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor. This role bridges coalition engagement, endorsements, and constituency outreach with day-to-day finance support.
Responsibilities
Support political outreach to key constituencies and advocacy organizations
Track endorsements, coalition relationships, and outreach pipelines
Serve as a liaison between political and finance teams for event coordination and stakeholder engagement
Support finance efforts including donor research, call time, and events
Assist in preparing briefing materials and outreach plans for the Candidate and senior staff
Maintain organized tracking systems for contacts, meetings, and follow-ups
Qualifications
1–2 years of campaign, political, or nonprofit advocacy experience
Strong research, writing, and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Google Workspace; NGP or CRM familiarity preferredFlorida political or coalition experience preferred
Ability to work evenings and weekends; must have a personal laptop and a car (mileage reimbursed)
