Tammy Baldwin for Senate is seeking a Press Assistant who will be the backstop of the Communications Team, assisting in educating the public about Tammy Baldwin and the Republicans running against her.
Responsibilities
Assist Communications Team with outreach to press, stakeholders, and other allies
Compile daily news clips and monitor news coverage of the senator and Republican opponents
Draft written materials for internal and external use, including talking points, press releases, statements, and memos
Help maintain press list and distribute materials
Other duties as assigned by the Communications Director, Press Secretary, and Rapid Response Director
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of being detail-oriented
Excellent attention to detail and writing ability
Ability to remain highly organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for electing Democrats in the state of Wisconsin
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet deadlines.
Compensation
$4500 per month
Mileage reimbursement for campaign travel

This is a bargaining unit position with the IBEW
