Tina for Oregon is seeking a dedicated and hard working ** Press Secretary** for the 2026 cycle. The Press Secretary will work closely with the campaign team to execute communications strategy and tactics, including drafting written materials for the campaign and serving as main point of contact for state and local reporters. The ideal candidate will have on-the-record experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Oregon ties are preferred.** This is not an entry level position.**
Responsibilities:
Work with campaign team to execute communications strategy and tactics
Manage day-to-day press operations including pitching and responding to media inquiries
Serve as main point of contact and on-the-record spokesperson for state and local press
Draft written materials including statements, speeches, op-eds, press releases and advisories, and talking points
Plan and execute campaign press events across the state
Assist with other communications duties as needed
Qualifications:
Two cycles of campaign communications experience or equivalent
On-the-record experience working with reporters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects while working on a deadline
Desire and ability to work long campaign hours, including evenings, weekends, and irregular hours

Salary:$7,000/month, commensurate with experience
