Technicolor Political is a national, multimedia communications consulting firm.  We specialize in helping Democratic candidates and issue campaigns develop and deliver their messages to voters with impact. Position Summary

Technicolor Political is seeking a Principal, who will work with TCLR team members to serve clients, solve problems, provide support to partners, and work to originate new business and retain client relationships.

 

The ideal candidate has significant experience in campaign communications and media planning, and/or management, excellent presentation skills, and knowledge of the political consulting industry.

 

Responsibilities

The Principal will be responsible for:

Client Management

  • Building strong relationships with clients in the public policy and political sectors, understanding their goals, objectives, and challenges;

  • Assisting on accounts and/or serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring their needs are met;

  • Collaborating closely with clients to identify campaign objectives, target audiences, and messaging strategies; and

  • Collaborating to create innovative media plans and campaigns.

Partner/Firm Support

  • Assisting TCLR partners in projects and tasks as they arise;

  • Supporting team members working on individual client projects to which you are not assigned a dedicated role; and

  • Looking for opportunities to support TCLR in continuing to be an industry leader.

New Business

  • Cultivating a deep knowledge of the political consulting industry and relationships within it;

  • Assisting in originating new business and retaining client relationships; and

  • Building, renewing, and maintaining a professional reputation and network.

Additional duties as assigned. 

 

Essential Skills

  • Significant experience (3+ cycles) in campaign communications and/or management

  • Excellent presentation skills, problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of and experience with commonly used concepts, practices, policies, and procedures within the political consulting industry

  • Ability to comprehend the TCLR offerings and to communicate our value proposition to prospects

  • Must be accountable, professional, courteous, and motivated, and must work well individually and as a member of a team

  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with managing spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
