JOB DESCRIPTION

Four Lions Media( FLM) is looking to hire a new Production Coordinator. This role will be responsible for working with the FLM team and our contractors and vendors to ensure all media and print is managed through our systems.

 

FLM is an integrated media firm built out of decades of experience with foundations in data. Our team produces video content, digital strategy, and direct mail for the progressive community. Our clients include the leaders of International Unions, non-profit and advocacy organizations, voter persuasion groups, and candidates for electoral office. We have worked at all levels of the ballot and produce award-winning communications.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

 

  • Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process

  • Manage the production team so that scheduled goals are met

  • Plan, schedule, direct, and execute production activities

  • Develop cost-effective measurements to achieve exceptional business practices

  • Maintain current knowledge of the market and industry trends

 

For direct mail:

  • Manage production for all direct mail campaigns, including finding print and mail shops, identifying a pool of designers managing their workload, and ensuring all direct mail is accounted for, paid for, and billed accordingly.

  • Provide graphics and direct mail editing during the slower points.

 

For video:

  • Organize video and still shoots, including hiring crew and ensuring all Video Production is accounted for, paid for, and billed accordingly.

  • Identify a pool of editors and manage their workload.

  • Provide light editing during the slower points.

 

Requirements

 

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Working knowledge of technical software that is specific to the industry

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High regard for quality assurance

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Understands either the direct mail or video editing process

  • Basic use of Canva, Photoshop, InDesign

  • Familiarity with AI software 

  • Understanding of politics and public issues

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including their advertising structures/requirements and preferred styles

  • Strong understanding of industry market and conditions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • 3+ years relevant experience.
