Analyst Institute is hiring a Program Associate on the Partnerships and Community Engagement Team. In this role, you will support day-to-day partnerships work by coordinating programs, managing event logistics, and communicating with partner organizations. You will work across multiple portfolios to help ensure that our programming, advising, and engagement activities run smoothly and consistently.
This is an early-career role focused on coordination, execution, and partner support. In this position, you will help the team deliver high-quality programming and maintain strong relationships with organizations across the progressive ecosystem.
We’re looking to fill the Program Associate role by the beginning of July. Applications will be accepted until June 5.

The Role
The Partnerships and Community Engagement team works with organizations and campaigns to translate research into practice through advising, training, and convenings. This role supports that work by coordinating logistics, managing communications, and helping ensure that programs are delivered effectively and on time.
As a Program Associate on the Partnerships and Community Engagement team, you’ll:
Coordinate logistics for recurring webinars, presentations on research findings, and other virtual events
Support the planning and execution of events and convenings in partnership with other organizations
Assist with scheduling, preparing materials, and managing follow-up for groups of partner organizations receiving guidance over time
Coordinate logistics for training sessions and occasionally lead or co-facilitate sessions
Draft and manage short-form communications related to events and programming, including event listings, registration forms, promotional emails, reminders, and follow-up
Track timelines and manage task lists across projects to keep work on track
Identify and communicate logistical or coordination challenges early, and work with teammates to resolve them
Qualifications

You should be someone who:
Has some experience coordinating projects, events, or programs, including managing logistics and timelines
Communicates clearly and consistently, both in writing and in collaboration with teammates and external partners
Produces accurate, well-organized written materials (emails, agendas, etc.) and takes care to check details before sharing information
Can manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Uses tools or systems to stay organized and meet deadlines, and can adapt when priorities shift
Takes responsibility for assigned work and follows through independently
Knows when to ask for help, seeks input when needed, and keeps teammates informed to ensure work stays on track
Builds and maintains positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Listens closely to partner needs and follows up in a timely and reliable way
Is open to feedback and reflects on their own work and growth
Is comfortable implementing programs designed by others and contributing to team-based work
Contributes to an inclusive and respectful environment for partners and colleagues
Though not required, we are especially interested in candidates with the following experiences (please note these in your resume and/or application question responses):
Experience supporting trainings, workshops, or facilitation
Interest in research, data, or translating findings into practice in applied settings
Experience working in fast-paced or deadline-driven environments where coordination and accuracy are critical
Uses tools, including generative AI, to work efficiently, draft materials, and support day-to-day tasks, while reviewing outputs carefully for accuracy and clarity
Familiarity with the civic engagement, political, or nonprofit ecosystems
Experience with or interest in accessibility, especially as it relates to event planning
