Core Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Strategy
Lead and manage key redistricting and voting rights programs.
Collaborate with voting rights policy advocates to develop narrative and messaging strategies.
Ensure program implementation aligns with organizational goals and meets target outcomes.
Partnership Development and Collaboration
Cultivate relationships with community-based organizations, grassroots groups, and influencers to amplify messaging.
Represent AV/AVP in redistricting and voting rights coalitions and working groups.
Work collaboratively with partner organizations to integrate culturally relevant messaging into broader campaigns.
Community Engagement and Education
Organize workshops, public forums, and community discussions to promote civic education.
Develop and distribute educational resources, toolkits, and digital content to empower communities.
Digital and Audience Engagement
Develop strategies to engage both digital and in-person audiences.
Create compelling content for social media, websites, and email campaigns to increase awareness and participation.
Leverage social media analytics and tools to optimize outreach and audience engagement.
Candidate Should Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Communications, or related field ( or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in program management, advocacy, or community engagement (2+ years preferred).
Strong understanding of voting rights, redistricting, and census issues.
Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including CRMs, social media, and analytics tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and work effectively with diverse communities.
