CLC is looking for a committed Project Lead to manage a portfolio of clients in the nonprofit sector while designing accessible database solutions to support client project needs. This position collaborates with clients to surface issues and develop solutions, hosts trainings to support adoption, and surfaces best practices solutions for nonprofit database customization and management.

Expected hours per week: flexible—minimum 30, up to 40+

Rate:$32/hour (Gross income $49,920-66,560+; Value of package $60,745-78,343+)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Database Design and Implementation
Unearth inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement in client databases via client interviews, database review, and existing process documentation
Develop step-by-step solution plans
Present solutions to clients to gain feedback and buy-in
Design workflows to support client database use in line with their programs
Structure workflows in databases
Determine ways to check accuracy of set up
Write best practice guides to document the structure of the system
Lead change-management trainings with client teams on a variety of use case scenarios to operationalize customizations
Make strategic decisions around data management from collection format to end reporting
Project Management
Plan and track projects using Asana daily
Keep your and collaborators’ tasks up to date with timelines so expectations are clearly communicated
Delegate tasks to internal team and client teams
Analyze and iterate on project structures to facilitate improvement and streamlining
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and against project timelines and estimates
Meet with clients virtually for training, office hours and check-ins
Communicate project updates in a timely manner, including any shifts to timelines and adjustments to scope, soliciting client input when needed
Client Trainings and Adoption
Develop workshop plan and timeline, including identifying varying levels of training needs by client role
Conduct intensive database trainings on identified priority needs and hold ad-hoc trainings on client questions during office hours
Develop visual and written guides, including handbooks, click-through guides, and presentations to meet a variety of learning styles
Draft, edit and provide feedback on accessible technical guides to assure quality and consistency
Measure client proficiency before and after trainings to gauge effectiveness and identify additional areas of support
Create and execute a follow up plan to ensure client understanding and implementation
Required Skills
Competency with EveryAction database, or comparable CRM
Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools
Design-thinking approach, with ability to communicate difficult concepts visually, verbally, and in writing
Ability to handle confidential client data with discernment and care
Self-directed and comfortable giving and receiving regular feedback
Reliable, especially in a remote environment
Preferred Skills & Qualities
Familiarity with NGP VAN and EveryAction
Familiarity with other CRMs
Familiarity with digital organizing tools for phone/text banking, email marketing, donation handling and event management (some of the tools we work with are Mobilize and ActBlue)
Background in base building, community organizing, or labor organizing a plus!
