JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

The Quality Control Associate provides data and systems support while executing the quality review of voter registration programming in Bexar County. The primary responsibilities of the Quality Control Associate will be to review form processing, review daily quality control system entries and uploads, and maintain high-caliber data collection for the voter registration team in Bexar County. The Quality Control Associate reports directly to the Data Operations Manager and works closely with the Temporary Field Manager and Electoral Manager.

 

Position Details

This is a full-time, temporary, exempt, baseline associate job-level position available from April to November 2024. This position operates in a 40-hour workweek and is provided with benefits that include an organizational debit card, paid sick time, and a travel stipend. This position requires the employee to reside in San Antonio, Texas. The Temporary Quality Control Associate is a hybrid position (90% in-person, 10% virtual) that requires reliable access to transportation, wifi, and a dedicated working space. The employee is responsible for maintaining valid travel documentation. The contract salary is $55,000. This a non-supervisory position that reports directly to the Data Operations Manager.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Campaign Support

  • Maintain systems and documentation that ensure data integrity of voter, base, donor, and employee data through voter registration drive.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by direct and indirect supervisors related to supporting quality control and execution while performing other tasks as needed related to voter registration efforts.

  • Campaign Quality Control

  • Ensure all data entry is completed and maintains the highest standards of integrity, form completion, and data quality.

  • Review flagged forms for accuracy, keep accurate records of delivery, and raise concerns or issues to the Temporary Field Manager or Electoral Manager.

  • Review uploaded voter registration forms in our quality control software daily.

  • Establish regular check-ins with each manager and provide constructive feedback and support when issues occur.

  • Provide regular feedback to strengthen data collection to the Temporary Field Manager to communicate to Electoral Canvassers.

  • Provide training on best practices throughout the program.

  • Data System Maintenance (Blocks)

  • Produce reports, dashboards, queries, etc., to support the evaluation, strategic guidance, and reporting to external stakeholders as needed as it relates to voter registration drive.

  • Monitor metrics within voter registration software (Blocks) and automate reports for accuracy and troubleshooting as necessary.

  • Organizational Accountability

  • Execute organizational policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Participate in campaign meetings and training.

  • Provide direct support during organizational days of action.

  • Demonstrate the ability to apply skills and knowledge to competently perform job duties and assignments.
