REPORTING STRUCTURE
Regional Directors report the Program Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading assigned regional engagement and organizing strategy.
Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of different groups and communities.
Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and facilitate discussion
Plan, implement, and evaluate community engagement initiatives.
Advocate for community interests and influence policy decisions.
Manage a team of canvassers and volunteers.
Coordinate resources and best practices across the city.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 campaign cycles of field experience on a candidate or issue advocacy campaign.
1 year of campaign management is a plus.
Prior experience organizing and with community outreach in Chicago is preferred.
Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, preferred but not required.
Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively under pressure.
Commitment to innovation, adaptability, and a willingness to pilot new organizing models.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work extended hours, late evenings and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The anticipated salary for this position is $60-70K/year and is commensurate with experience. CGC offers a benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance.
