2026 Regional Field Director –

Michigan: CD 7 & CD10

Pennsylvania: CD7 & CD10

 

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The 2026 Regional Field Directors play a vital role in ALWAYS UNITED LLC’s efforts to elect pro-worker candidates to the U.S. House of Representatives across the United States. Regional Field Directors will help build an innovative, data-driven voter mobilization program through the implementation of districtwide, direct voter contact efforts. Regional Field Director candidates should be skilled at managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, including concurrent management of multiple Congressional district field programs--while maintaining sharp focus on programmatic details. Regional Field Directors will be expected to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and must have access to a laptop and reliable transportation. The Regional Field Director role is a full-time position and will report to the National Field Director and collaborate with the entire ALWAYS UNITED LLC team.

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

· Directly recruit, onboard, train, manage, and coach a team of paid canvassers working to elect pro-worker candidates for Congress;

· Help implement and execute a robust data-driven outreach plan encompassing voter contact and voter education;

· In cooperation with the Data Director, utilize rigorous standards for data collection and use within the NGP/VAN (or equivalent) platform;

· Help create a professional staff culture that is upbeat and empowering, with a mind towards greater inclusion, a customer-service attitude, and willingness to solve problems creatively;

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ cycles experience on statewide or competitive Congressional campaigns, with demonstrated experience managing and coaching successful field teams;

· Expertise with the NGP/VAN (or equivalent) platform;

· Have experience managing large scale projects;

· Be resourceful and able to solve problems on one’s own;

· Excellent data and analytical skills;

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and proactively;

· A passion for social justice and a commitment to pro-labor values;

· Proficiency in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel;

· Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment.

 

COMPENSATION:

This is a salaried position paying between $7,000 and $8,000 a month depending on qualifications and experience.

Some work for this position can be done remotely but Regional Field Directors are expected to meet the canvassing crews at the start and conclusion of each shift and regularly be out in the field to verify that the work is being completed properly.

We are currently looking for Regional Field Director in each of the following states:

· Michigan (covering both CD7 and CD10), which includes Central and Southeastern Michigan, from the greater Lansing area to Oakland and Macomb Counties).

· Pennsylvania (covering both CD7 and CD10, which includes the greater Allentown area, as well as Harrisburg and York)

The position includes mileage compensation for business use of a personal vehicle and reasonable business expenses.

The expected duration of this position is through November 30, 2026.
