Department: Field** Reports To:** Field Director
Our campaign is hiring Regional Field Directors to manage voter contact and organizing operations across the great state of Kansas. Each RFD will supervise a team of Field Organizers, own their region’s numbers, and build the volunteer infrastructure needed to win. These roles are a fit for people who have organized, have prior experience on campaigns, and are ready to manage.
Responsibilities
• Manage voter contact and organizing operations within an assigned region of Kansas.
• Supervise Field Organizers within the assigned region, providing coaching, accountability, and support.
• Set and track weekly voter contact goals for the region, including door knocks, phone calls, and volunteer shifts.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders and teams within the region.
• Build relationships with local elected officials, community leaders, and organizations in the assigned region.
• Execute regional components of the campaign’s GOTV plan.
• Report regularly to the Deputy Field Director on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
Experience & Qualifications
• At least one cycle of field organizing experience on a political campaign.
• Experience managing or mentoring organizers preferred.
• Proficiency with VAN/VoteBuilder and standard field tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate staff and volunteers.
• Familiarity and experience organizing in Kansas preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work long hours to get the job done.
What Success Looks Like
Success for RFDs is measured by their region’s voter contact numbers against targets, volunteer recruitment and retention, the development of organizer staff, and ultimately, successfully hitting turnout goals to win on election day!
Compensation: $65,000
