JOB DESCRIPTION

The 2024 New Hampshire Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign is seeking highly motivated Regional Organizing Directors to help ensure Democratic victories across the state in 2024. New Hampshire is a critical state in 2024 at all levels of the ballot - join us to reelect President Biden, elect Democrats up and down the ballot, and regain the governorship and state legislative majorities in this year’s elections. This position is based in New Hampshire.

 

Your role will include:

● Hire, manage, and coach organizers and fellows.

● Manage and develop regional organizing programs to build volunteer capacity to carry out voter contact plans.

● Hold organizers, fellows and volunteers accountable to various programmatic goals and metrics.

● Work and communicate with grassroots leaders and key activists to implement regional plans.

● Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

We encourage you to apply if you’ve got a combination of the following:

● 1-2 cycles of organizing experience on issue or electoral campaigns, with a preference for candidates with one cycle of experience managing paid staff.

● Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure and problem solve effectively and creatively.

● Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and build community.

● Time management and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Willingness to work long hours, often including nights and weekends.

● Experience with Votebuilder and Google Suite.

● Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.

● Ties to New Hampshire are welcomed, but not required.

● Commitment to electing New Hampshire Democrats up and down the ballot.
