The Delaware Democratic Party is seeking experienced Regional Organizing Leads for the 2026 Coordinated Campaign. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the grassroots turnout operation needed to win close elections this November.
At their core, Regional Organizing Leads are people who are always ready to roll up their sleeves and jump onto the field. They will be responsible for running point on field operations in their assigned region, and will play a critical role in executing the coordinated campaign’s statewide organizing strategy on the ground in their assigned region.
Regionals are managers responsible for coaching and supporting Organizers, ensuring metric-driven success, and developing staff to meet programmatic goals. Regional Organizing Directors are resilient leaders, intentional people managers, and creative problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced, metric-driven environments.
This role reports to the Coordinated Campaign Manager, is based in person in Delaware, and runs through November 13, 2026.
Key Responsibilities & Characteristics
Recruit, manage, train and retain a strong core of volunteers in the region.
Oversee the set-up and execution of voter contact efforts through canvass launches, phone banking and text banking.
Help build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, county parties, and coalition partners in coordination with campaign leadership.
Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale volunteer and campaign events.
Ensure organizers are trained, supported, and equipped to meet ambitious volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals, in collaboration with campaign leadership.
Develop systems and processes that drive accountability, data integrity, and consistent execution across the region.
Travel regularly within your assigned region in Delaware to support your team, with possible travel to other regions for Statewide event support
Support the Coordinated Campaign Manager in systems management and troubleshooting program execution on the ground.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
At least 1+ cycles of organizing experience, with a strong preference for at least 1-2 cycles of experience managing paid staff. Experience in Delaware is preferred, but not required.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven fluency with VAN, Mobilize, and other organizing tools.
Ability to work within a team to achieve shared goals across a statewide program.
Ability to thrive in fast pace environment, work long hours including weekends, and manage high pressure situations
Access to a reliable vehicle, laptop and cell phone required.
