These are two or more permanent positions and we are looking to hire immediately. We offer competitive salary commensurate with experience (between $55,000 to $80,000 annually) in addition to a comprehensive benefits package detailed below. This Research Analyst position provides a great perspective into the political polling and research industry with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced and quickly expanding research practice. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and have an interest in data, demography, and public opinion. A well-qualified candidate will also have excellent writing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to balance competing demands and timelines.
Research analysts will coordinate internal research needs, conduct candidate and issue research, write presentations and memos, draft survey questionnaires, focus group guidelines, and in-depth interview guidelines. In addition to research and analysis, you will also act as a project manager for our clients. You will receive mentorship and training to help you grow your skills and network for personal and professional development.

Position responsibilities include:
Involvement with every aspect of the polling and qualitative processes, as well as client and project management
Leading on project logistics and quality assurance
Assisting in the drafting of reports and project deliverables
Reports directly to Senior Vice President of Research
Preferred on-site at Seattle office, hybrid work or relocation compensation offered to select candidates
Experience required:
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Strong numeracy (no advanced mathematics required but must be able to capably work with quantitative data)
Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
Interest in public opinion as well as public policy, politics, or campaigns
Working knowledge of statistics is a major plus but not required
Familiarity with polling and voter files a major plus but not required
Ability to work well within a friendly, team-first environment
Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field (political science, communications, etc.)
