DESCRIPTION
The Research Tracking Associate will be responsible for documenting, reporting, and analyzing events among FL-9 Republicans, including media appearances, and other public events such as rallies. They will clip audio and video files for distribution, prepare detailed memos on candidates’ remarks, and promptly produce research for rapid response tasks. The Research Tracking Associate will also work on various other research projects as needed. On the job training will be provided.
The position is full time, with weekend and evening hours expected. Candidates will work in-person in and out of an office setting based out of Kissimmee, FL. Salaries will be negotiated on a case by case basis dependent on qualifications.

Responsibilities
Searching for, cataloging, and sharing details of public events in the Republican primary and from the eventual Republican nominee.
Filming and audio recording public events and transcribing them
Analyzing remarks by candidates and news coverage, and preparing reports
Recruiting, retaining, and managing a network of volunteers
Partnering with the broader campaign team to ensure adequate monitoring of other campaigns’ activities
Presenting actionable information and summaries on candidate activities to senior leadership
Other research duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Initiative to work independently with meticulous attention to detail, and to follow through on all projects
Flexibility to travel around Central Florida at short notice and availability during evening and weekend hours
A reliable car to get to and from events
Ability to perform duties under pressure and when handling confrontation
Excellent research skills that leave no stone unturned, including experience distilling complex research for non-research audiences
Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple high-priority tasks
