We are hiring a Senior Campaigns Strategist to work for American clients during this important and busy election year. In this role, you will assist our management team in developing digital ad campaign strategies, media plans, and in-platform campaign optimization. This role requires ad tech knowledge and experience on programmatic DSPs, Google Ads, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for digital politics, a strategic mindset, technical skills in building digital ad campaigns, and a compelling client-oriented personality.

Electica is a fully remote company. That means you can work from anywhere in the US. We organize quarterly in-person retreats to align on strategy and bond with teammates. Previous locations include London, Maine, Croatia, Portugal, Spain and Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the management team to understand client needs, and then develop media plans and digital ad strategies for our Democratic and progressive clients.

  • Build audience profiles on audience-building tools like L2 and Target Smart to ensure our campaigns reach the correct people.

  • Lead more junior staff in building ad campaigns directly in-platform - including on DSPs like The Trade Desk and DV360, on SA360, and social media platforms like Meta.

  • Traffic ads on an ad server like CM360.

  • Run campaign pacing and optimization studies each day to ensure that all line items are running smoothly and reaching KPIs.

  • Mentor junior staff in technical skills in media planning and campaign builds.

  • Work with our Reporting and Measurement specialists to translate campaign performance from raw data into actionable insights.

 

Required expertise

  • Experience working for political campaigns or non-profits, ideally at least 1 cycle in an election period.

  • Experience with at least one DSP like TTD, DV360, StackAdapt, or others.

  • Experience running digital ads on social media and Google Ads

  • Ability to run reporting on digital ads campaigns and present insights.

 

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary between $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

  • Annual bonus and profit-sharing scheme that amounts to additional pay of to 5%- 20% of gross annual salary
