JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a ** Senior Digital Planner & Buyer** to lead strategy, planning, and execution of digital media campaigns across paid channels. This role will translate campaign goals into smart, scalable data driven strategies — balancing creativity, analytics, and political insight to reach the right voters at the right time. This role will be responsible for overseeing every stage of the media process — from audience planning and platform strategy, to buying, optimization, and performance analysis. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced campaign environment and can think strategically while managing complex, multi-platform buys.  This is a full-time opportunity with benefits that ends after the General Election in November of 2026. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

Media Strategy & Buying

  • Develop and lead ** cross-channel digital media strategies** that integrate programmatic display, video (including CTV/OTT), social, search, and emerging platforms to achieve campaign objectives.

  • Translate voter data and polling insights into actionable audience segments, aligning each with the most effective channels and creative strategies.

  • Recommend strategic budget allocations and flighting across multiple channels to maximize impact throughout the campaign.

Campaign Management

  • Manage the end-to-end reconciliation process — verifying campaign delivery, spend accuracy, and vendor invoicing.

  • Manage vendor relationships including reservations on YouTube and other premium CTV platforms

  • Track campaign performance and ensure budgets are allocated and reported correctly.

Client-Facing Responsibilities

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, providing updates, performance summaries, and strategic recommendations.

  • Present media plans in client meetings and internal reviews.

  • Partner with account teams to translate data into actionable insights that support client goals.

Qualifications include:

  • 4+ years preferred of experience in digital media planning and buying, ideally within political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or digital agencies.

  • Proven ability to manage ** large, multi-channel budgets** across social, search, programmatic, video/CTV, and display platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with buying platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, and major DSPs, preferably The Trade Desk.

  • Demonstrated success turning ** voter data, polling, and analytics** into actionable media strategies.

  • Experience integrating ** voter file data** (e.g., TargetSmart, Catalist, Civis) into media targeting strategies.
