JOB DESCRIPTION

Description 

The Senior Manager, Paid Media is responsible for managing and optimizing advertising campaigns across ad platforms (Google, Facebook, Programmatic, Snapchat, etc.). Additionally, the Senior Manager, Paid Media is responsible for compiling reports and developing insights that increase results for clients. 

Day to day 

You will manage advertising campaigns across multiple clients and platforms, working on ad launches, optimization, analysis and reporting. 

Reporting: Pull data and develop reports and presentations for clients. 

Platform management: Launch and optimize campaigns across multiple advertising platforms 

Campaign optimization: Make changes to ad campaigns including keywords, ad copy, audience targets, and more. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Create media plans based on client objectives and budgets

  • Manage and execute advertising campaigns across Google, Facebook, DSPs, and reporting systems 

  • Manage and optimize budgets 

  • Manage and optimize ad campaigns including keyword research, targeting adjustments, first-party data management, and reporting setup 

  • Communicate results to internal team members and clients 

  • Co-ordinate internally on work with team in a timely and responsive manner

Qualifications 

  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in digital advertising working in public affairs, politics, and non-profits

  • Persuasion & Fundraising experience preferred

  • Expert-level experience in Excel and Google Sheets

  • Experience managing Google Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Programmatic DSPs, and Snapchat

  • Preferred DSPs include Nexxen and StackAdapt

  • Experience working with data vendors for list acquisition & SMS rentals 

  • Experience working with TargetSmart, L2, or other voter file providers

  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Data Studio 

  • Experience with ActBlue, NGPVAN, and Action Network 

  • Experience with Asana, Notion, and Semcasting are beneficial but not required

  • Strong ability to develop insights and recommendations

  • Strong attention to detail including correcting formulas, grammar, and data accuracy in reports
