Role Overview:
Field Organizers will lead grassroots efforts for direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer retention for the Shannon Bird for Congress Campaign across Colorado’s 8th Congressional District and ensure that the campaign meets its weekly and monthly goals.
The primary will be held on June 30, 2026 and the general election will be held on November 3, 2026.
Responsibilities:
Build grassroots teams to provide direct voter contact and manage volunteer
recruitment and retention.
Implement field techniques, including managing and executing phone banks to
recruit for rallies and town halls, as well as canvassing events.
Develop strong relationships with local stakeholders and groups.
Build local volunteer infrastructure across the district.
Qualifications:
Ability to take and implement feedback.
Willingness to be held accountable for meeting metrics and goals set forth by the
Campaign Manager and Field Director.
Passion for Shannon Bird’s congressional campaign and interest in recruiting volunteers to participate in the effort.
A valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle.
Access to a smartphone and laptop.
Willingness to commit fully to the demands of a high profile campaign,
including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous campaign organizing experience and proficiency in Spanish are preferred qualifications.
Location: Colorado’s 8th Congressional District comprises parts of Adams, Weld and Larimer Counties.
Hours: Full-time, at a minimum of 40 hours a week. Evening and weekend work will be required.
Salary: $4,816/monthly + $500 monthly health care stipend + monthly travel stipend.
