We’re seeking a motivated Social Media Director to lead daily content creation and management for a congressional campaign based in Northeast Atlanta, Georgia. You will be responsible for producing engaging social media content across all major platforms and collecting photos and video directly from the campaign trail.
Key Responsibilities
Create and post daily content across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
Capture, curate, and manage photos and video from campaign events and candidate appearances.
Work closely with the campaign team to ensure messaging is consistent and timely.
Attend in-person events with the candidate — travel within Georgia is required.
Qualifications
Previous social media or digital content experience preferred but not required.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel with the candidate to events across Georgia.
Must have access to a car and live in or near Atlanta Georgia, or be willing to relocate without relocation assistance.
Ability to work fast in a fast-paced, high-pressure campaign environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with basic graphic design and video editing.
