As a Menefee for Congress intern, you will play a key role in campaign operations while learning from some of Houston's most skilled Democratic staff and a series of accomplished guest speakers.
During the internship, you will spend 10 hours per week working the campaign. The internship is yours to mold—all interns will talk to voters about Christian's campaign, and there will be additional opportunities to work on fundraising, research, communications, social media, and event planning.
This is a mostly remote internship, and we encourage applications from anywhere in the United States. While the majority of work will be completed remotely, there will be some in-person events like blockwalks and fundraisers. There will also be occasional, optional opportunities to work from the Menefee for Congress office.
This internship cohort will work from June 23 to August 31, with opportunities to extend through election day. All interns will be paid a stipend upon completion of the program.
The only qualifications you need to apply are a commitment to progressive values, including kindness and respect in the workplace, and willingness to work hard to get Christian Menefee elected! Current college students, high school juniors and seniors, and recent graduates are all encouraged to apply.
