We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical ** Game Tester** to help refine the gameplay experience of That’s Not My Neighbor, a horror–detective game focused on observation, logic, and psychological tension.
As a tester, you will play new builds of the game, identify bugs and inconsistencies, and evaluate how effectively the game communicates clues to players. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys slow-burn horror, investigative gameplay, and spotting subtle details that others might miss.
Playtest new and existing versions of That’s Not My Neighbor to identify bugs, logic errors, and UI issues.
Test doppelganger behaviors, dialogue logic, and identity verification mechanics.
Report issues clearly with reproducible steps, screenshots, or video evidence.
Evaluate gameplay balance, difficulty progression, and player decision clarity.
Verify bug fixes in updated builds and ensure no regressions occur.
Provide feedback on atmosphere, pacing, and player tension.
Collaborate with the developer to improve the overall player experience.
Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive testing.
Ability to notice subtle inconsistencies in character behavior, dialogue, or visuals.
Clear written communication skills for bug reporting and feedback.
Familiarity with horror, puzzle, or detective-style games is a strong plus.
Experience with QA or game testing is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of bug-tracking tools or structured reporting methods.
Passion for indie games and psychological horror experiences.
