Job Description

**Hiring Manager Job Title:** Chief Operating Officer
**Employment Status:** Independent Contractor 
**Hours:** Range of 10 - 15 hours per week
**Primary Location:** Remote work but must be located in one of Rise’s core organizing states - California, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin 
**Salary: **The TikTok Content Creator position hourly rate ranges between $15/hour - $21/hour.

**Position Summary:**
Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the TikTok Content Creator will be responsible for co-creating Rise’s TikTok strategy, TikTok content execution, and cross-team social media collaboration. Candidates should be able to offer ingenuity, creativity, nimbleness, and enthusiasm, with the desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organizing program.

**Primary Job Responsibilities:**
- Represent the voice and work of Rise in collaboration with the broader social media team and other teams across the organization
- Co-develop a cohesive TikTok strategy for the image and voice of Rise, campaigns, political initiatives, community engagement, and student involvement that aligns with the organization’s goals
- Develop TikTok campaigns that work in conjunction and collaboration with cross-state organizing 
- Create compelling and engaging TikTok content that educates, mobilizes, and motivates our audience to take action and enhance Rise’s social media presence
- Utilize social media analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and social media efforts, and make changes and recommendations for improvement
- Participate in regular weekly social media team meetings to discuss strategy, content creation, performance metrics, and ongoing initiatives 
- Outline, organize, and prepare content calendars for TikTok
