The 2026 Pennsylvania Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign is seeking a thoughtful and enthusiastic ** Training Associate** to support the campaign’s training and coaching needs. A successful candidate will help ensure that campaign staff and volunteers across the state receive meaningful and accessible training, learning, and professional development opportunities that center learner agency and build on existing skills.

This is a full-time, remote-first, hybrid position based within Pennsylvania and may require regular in-person work with staff, volunteers, and partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Training and Leadership Development (TLD) Director in developing and executing a staff training curriculum that follows the life cycle of a campaign staffer including onboarding, ongoing skills development trainings, management coaching, preparing for Get Out The Vote (GOTV), and life after Election Day
Facilitate live and pre-recorded trainings and workshops for staff and volunteers
Build systems to solicit and analyze feedback from learners; fine-tune and perfect processes and materials based on learner feedback
Respond to and fulfill training needs from various departments; collaborate with specialized staff to ensure training materials are accurate and effective for all learners
Draft training and planning materials including outlines, lesson plans, worksheets, slide decks, and trackers
Promote and model a campaign environment that champions diversity, psychological safety, and interdependence
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience
Enthusiasm for teaching and training; background in education a plus
General understanding of political campaigns and desire to learn more
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate efficiently with various audiences and accommodate learners with varying proficiency levels and learning styles
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable with online productivity and collaboration tools including Google Workspace and Zoom; familiarity with campaign technology (VoteBuilder/VAN, Mobilize, voter contact tools) a plus
Demonstrated experience managing, training, or mentoring staff or volunteers
Commitment to championing diversity, inclusion, equity, and access
Willingness and ability to work remotely full-time and travel occasionally (~20%) across Pennsylvania
Ability to work long hours including occasional nights and weekends
Access to a reliable cell phone and laptop

This position is salaried at $5,400 per month, with employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance.
