The Democratic National Committee seeks a Trainings & Briefings Manager who will help expand the grassroots partnerships operations so we can build community and engage with digital-first partners and volunteers on a national scale. You will help lead the team that will cultivate and inform supporters through trainings, messaging, and implementing social media tactics to reach key audiences.
Work closely with the Supporter Cultivation and Social Media analysis sub-teams to develop training schedules and offerings.
Create content distribution toolkits, training materials, decks, and methodology to help give teams the tools they need to combat misinformation online.
Facilitate platforms and programs onboardings.
Develop and manage supporter briefing events and counter misinformation trainings to communicate campaign toplines.
Cross-team coordination for trainings/zoom facilitation
Track and report progress on completed trainings, program growth, and volunteer content-sharing experiences
Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission
At least 2 cycles of campaign experience, preferably in distributed or digital organizing and/or training.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; you should have an eagle-eye for typos and errors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Able to work independently and on a team and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
Well-developed sense of how to train volunteers with a creative and personalized approach
The starting salary for the Trainings & Briefings Manager position is $65,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position that may require work on weekends, and has an end date of November 15, 2024.
