Allred for Texas is looking for a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, on-the-road Video Producer to help capture and create engaging content for the campaign in both traditional and vertical online platforms. This role is based in Dallas, TX and will require extensive travel across the state with the candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel with the candidate as needed to capture campaign event and on-the-road footage
Work with the digital, political, and communications teams to conceptualize content that drives core messaging goals and priorities
Script, produce, and edit a wide range of video content
Manage and organize all video assets and graphics in an accessible way
Track digital content trends across platforms and share that information with the internal team.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in video content creation for an organization, brand, political campaign or candidate, or agency.
1+ years of capturing content in an on-the-road capacity, non-traditional settings, and/or non-studio environments.
Proven ability to quickly pitch, shoot, and edit creative ideas based on specific trends or impromptu content opportunities.
Experienced content editing and creation skills using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
Strong social media proficiency – up to date on production trends across key platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat.
Ability to think quickly and problem-solve in high-pressure situations, managing multiple assignments at once.
Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Experience:
Deep understanding of vertical content production, including TikTok/Reels style editing and curation.
Experience staffing a principal.
Texas ties are a plus but not required.
